Comments:- The 78s DB 732-734 are listed in the catalogue of the Società Nazionale del Grammofono - Nuovi Dischi dated giugno 1924 and DB 819-820 in that dated febbraio 1925. The latter do not appear to have been released outside of Italy. The following excerpts, which were recorded on the dates indicated, are performed: Pater nostro (Bertana - 16/5/24); Ecco il magico specchio (Journet - 16/5/24); Addio di Fanuèl (Galeffi, coro - 17/5/24) La confessione - Or tutto è confessato (Bertana, Galeffi - 15/5/24); Duetto finale - Laggiù tra i giunchi diGenezareth (Bertana, Galeffi - 15/5/24); Questo ad un lido fatal (Lo Giudice - 11/12/24); Pensa i Reami - Tu qui? Gloria al tuo dio (Journet - 4/12/24); Oh! come viene ad errar (Lo Giudice - 13/12/24); Scendi! scendi! (Lo Giudice - 13/12/24). Some of Journet's contribution is reproduced on the Marston CD 52009-2. The first performance of Nerone was given at La Scala on 1 May 1924 with these singers

Comments:- This video recording appears to be of a performance at the Split Summer Festival. See OPERA November 1989 p.1317. The DVD issued by House of Opera is listed in their online catalogue of �New DVDs 22 January 2005�. The recording is attributed here to Zagreb, but I have not been able to check whether Nerone was also performed there.
